Gaziosmanpaşa – this area of Istanbul used to be called Tashlytarla.
The solution to the problem of traffic jams in the area was tram line Topkapy - Hibipler. Therefore, the area became one of the leaders by population inflow. Until 2008 this district was deemed one of the most populous in Turkey. To such an extent that 2 districts of this area were converted into areas, which reduced the number of Gaziosmanpaşa population and pushed it into the second place.
The territory of Gaziosmanpaşa district until 1950 was a desert rocky terrain, called Tashlytarla (rocky field). Then immigrants from Balkan countries began to settle here and the construction of factories started. Today, this district has about one million inhabitants, almost half of them – young people.
In the district, which previously was considered a backwater, now there are many most modern residential, shopping and entertainment complexes, prestigious office buildings and schools. This is one of the best examples of the conversion into city program (kentleştırme).
Real estate in Gaziosmanpaşa is a good investment that is easy to sell and rent out.
